Case Study

Milestone created the whole marketing concept for Toraja as a City Branding project—from logo development and tagline creation to the advertising activities that come with it. Collaborating with Swiss Contact Wisata and DMO (Destination Management Organization), a research was conducted through means of participant observation for 5 days while socializing with stakeholders. The people of Toraja was involved as well, deciding the logo through voting to truly choose a logo that most resembles the colors of the people. The creation of the sleek catalog involves working closely with a photographer to create a robust, in-depth, and beautiful previews of the essence of Toraja in itself, and also print ads for local and international tourists which fit the target market of the destination. Milestone became the integral solution for the City Branding of Toraja from the beginning to the end, in the hopes of continuously walking side-by-side in unison to attract even more tourists from all over the world, even until now.
